Specifications include, but are not limited to: Summit County Government (“County”) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide curbside chipping and removal service of wood piles composed of trees, regardless of species, tree branches and Sage up to approximately 12” in diameter, via one (1) pass through every neighborhood in Summit County. Work involves driving through every Summit County neighborhood and stopping at roadside wood piles to chip and haul woody material. Trees, regardless of species, tree branches and Sage are the intended material to be removed through this program. Construction material, treated lumber, rotten wood, roots, stumps, clippings or any items other than trees and tree branches are to be left at the original location for landowner disposal. After wood pile chipping is complete, at each location, Contractor will sweep/blow the area of any residual material.
