The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: complete a variety of excavation work including, but not limited to beaver dam removal, culvert installation, crossing removal, culvert cleaning, gravel exploration and minor ditch cleaning in areas located in Northern Beltrami, Roseau, and Western Lake of the Woods Counties. Majority of the excavation work is dispersed across the forest. Exception would be beaver dam removal. Most of the dam removal occurs in the southern portion of the forest on Dick’s Parkway, Moose River East, Moose River West, and Rapid River Forest Roads. A power shovel (also known as a track hoe) is required for this solicitation.
