The City is soliciting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to conduct the annual independent audit of the City’s financial transactions and to express an opinion on the fairness of the presentation of the City’s financial statements, The Alameda County Transportation Commission Measure B Funds and Measure BB Funds, the Alameda County Vehicle Registration Fee Fund, agreed-upon procedures report on the appropriations limit worksheet, Transportation Development Act grants audits and reports and Single Audit report as appropriate. These audits are to be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act as amended in 1996, and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of State and Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations.
