1. Remove all existing roofing layers to deck; river rock ballast is to be removed and hauled away at Library. Repair any damaged areas of existing metal roof deck. 2. Assess roof drains locations, sizing, and functionality; Add primary and/or secondary roof drains as required by code. 3. Install new White EPDM, 60-mil, fully-adhered roof assembly with code-required minimum insulation value: a. Install new polyisocyanurate insulation, tapered and with crickets as necessary to provide continuous flow of water to drains. b. Install new coverboard. c. Install new white EPDM membrane, fully adhered, with detailing accessories. EPDM to be adhered per manufacturer’s requirements to resist Colorado historic wind forces. d. Provide termination bars and counterflashing at parapet walls. e. Provide for detailing expansion joints where they currently exist. 4. Install 24Ga prefinished steel parapet coping metal. 5. Add roof walk pads that replicate pattern of walk pads of original roof. 6. Submittals are to be provided to ACC, for review and approval, for each material to be used in the roof replacement.
