1. The bid, if awarded will be awarded to the responsible bidder on a per property basis whose bid is most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. 2. Contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance to the City of Warner Robins showing that they carry Worker's Compensation, in accordance with State Worker’s Compensation Laws, and public liability and property damage insurance in sufficient amounts to ensure adequate coverage of the work, with the following minimum amounts acceptable: Worker’s Compensation: Statutory, required with 3 or more employees Comprehensive General Liability: 1 Million per Occurrence/2 Million General Aggregate Comprehensive Vehicle Liability: 1 Million Combined Single Limit Umbrella Liability: 2 Million If asbestos abatement is included in the work, then the qualifications and current licenses of the abatement contractor must be included in the bid. 3. The Contractor shall hold harmless, indemnify and defend the Owner, its officers, employees or agents from any and all liability claims, losses or damages herein, but not including the sole negligence of the Owner. 4. Contractor is encouraged to visit the job site before submitting a bid. A copy of the asbestos inspection report is enclosed in this bid package for your information. 5. All material or debris resulting from abatement and/or demolition work becomes the property of the Contractor and will be disposed of in a legal manner and hauled to an approved EPD landfill or location. 6. Lots must be restored to natural grades and natural conditions. This will include permanent stabilization of all disturbed areas including fill dirt and/or top soil and seed. All debris resulting from demolition shall be removed from the premises. The lot will be fine graded prior to being seeded and strawed.
