The Bidder shall design, implement, and evaluate a program that supports youth development through the following tasks and deliverables: Develop a Comprehensive Framework for Growth Design a structured program integrating teen mentoring, trained educators-tutors, leadership development, cultural exploration, and activity-based learning rooted in traditional practices. Incorporate goal setting, teamwork, and confidence-building strategies aligned with holistic, place-based education and the principles of land stewardship and responsibility to community and environment. Facilitate Engaging Youth Experiences Plan and implement community events, workshops, and activities that foster leadership, teamwork, and skill-building in dynamic, interactive formats centered around cultural values. Provide support for participation logistics, including ground transportation, materials, and accommodations, ensuring equitable access for youth from Leeward district of Oahu. Emphasize experiential learning with opportunities such as community site visits, hands-on land stewardship activities, traditional food gathering and preparation, and the exploration of historical and cultural sites. Build Structured Mentorship Systems Recruit and train teen mentors skilled in guiding youth through leadership and identity-based educational experiences. Facilitate teen mentor-youth interactions that promote responsibility, cultural pride, and resilience while fostering a strong sense of identity and purpose. Establish mentorship pathways connecting participants with community leaders and cultural practitioners. Promote Career Readiness and Life Skills Integrate career exploration, educational planning, and leadership training to prepare youth for future endeavors while incorporating ancestral knowledge as a guiding principle. Use hands-on, cultural activity-based methods to teach transferable skills like communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, with a focus on traditional and contemporary applications. Provide an internship opportunity for adolescents, allowing mentorship and fostering leadership, soft skills, and career development within culturally grounded settings.
