The engineering services required for this project shall be completed in general accordance with the scope of services as needed to accomplish the major tasks listed below. The final scope of services will be negotiated with the selected engineering firm: • Perform an investigation of existing site and drainage conditions to determine the origin, cause, failure, and extent of the settlement damage • Review existing building plans, record drawings, and prior geotechnical reports as available • Conduct a geotechnical analysis of soil conditions contributing to the settlement • Perform structural analysis of the building and on-site structures • Provide a detailed summary of findings and conclusions for City review • Provide recommendations for repair/replacement and an improvement plan to minimize settlement and prevent future damages • Prepare an estimate of construction costs and schedule for each recommendation
