Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Garland GP&L solicits proposals using a competitive bid process to select a vendor for the purpose of providing temporary staffing needs for up to 5 shift supervisors, 5 control room operators, Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Tech (EI&C), Mechanical, Electrical Engineers, Planner and Project Manager. All candidates need to have electric generation power plant experience. Plant operators work a modified Du-Pont rotating day and nights shift schedule. Each shift is 12 hours. The work weeks are 36 hours and 48 hours. There will be 4 shifts with three people, Shift supervisor, Control Room Operator and Auxiliary Basement Operator. On shift personnel will receive instruction from City of Garland QSE for unit operation schedule.
