The project will expand and remodel the classroom within the Colorado Army National Guard SOD-K Readiness Center. The classroom size will be expanded by removing the backwall of the adjacent hallway, and relocating the entry doors to the classroom. The new size of the classroom will be approximately 1,000 square feet to make the area as efficient as possible. The project also includes new ceilings, flooring, doors, electrical, LED lighting, HVAC components, fire alarm components, communication wiring/data drops, and windows. No structural load-bearings walls are anticipated to be impacted by this project. Construction work will require inspections and approvals from the State of Colorado Code Consultant, and Electrical Board.
