1.1 Individual projects will be assigned to the Contractor by the Project Officer with project documents attached (if available) and/or by meeting and discussing on-site. The project documents could be plans, profile, maps or sketches. If there is any discrepancy between the project documents and specifications for a specific project and the DES Construction Standards and Specifications, the requirements of the project documents shall prevail over the other documents. 1.2 Projects will be assigned for cost estimate and shall fall under the following definitions: 1.2.1 Point Repair- Any repair requiring 30-feet or less of new pipe. 1.2.2 Pipe Replacement- Any repair or replacement that is 31-feet of pipe and greater.
