4.1. Scope of Work The City is seeking an experienced security technology integrator or service provider to engage in a comprehensive service contract for the City’s DSX System. The Contractor shall provide but may not be limited to the following services: • Routine and preventative maintenance on all DSX hardware, including locks, card readers, request and motion exit devices, panels, etc. • Replacement and or repair of damaged, inoperable, and malfunctioning hardware as necessary to return the system to full functionality. • Routine and preventative upkeep of the WinDSX software, working with City IT and the DSX Manufacturer as necessary to ensure the software is running correctly, is patched and updated as necessary, and is utilized as intended. • Participate in regular meetings with City Security and IT staff to develop Citywide DSX access control strategy and needs. Meetings are typically scheduled once or twice per month. • Provide occasional device and system status reports, such as hardware age and model numbers for devices in the field. • Contractor shall respond to routine service calls within twenty-four (24) hours of the call being placed. Contractor shall respond to emergency service calls within four (4) hours of the call being placed. • Contractor shall perform new installations for the City and these doors shall also become part of the maintenance contract. • Additional services related to the contract may be requested by the City.
