The Park City Police Department employs Motorola Watchguard body-worn and vehicle cameras and adopting Motorola Watchguard’s storage solutions would ensure smoother integration with our existing equipment, enhancing digital evidence access and storage. This software would also allow PCPD to integrate their current license plate reader system, Motorola Vigilante to better share information. Motorola is the only provider that seamlessly integrates with our existing records management system, Spillman, which justifies a sole source exception. Spillman is a critical system used county-wide, including dispatch services. Transitioning to a new records management system would disrupt our centralized resource structure with Summit County. Additionally, Spillman is widely utilized by law enforcement agencies across Utah, facilitating seamless information sharing between departments.
