A. Contractor will comply with HHSC Contract Affirmation, which are incorporated as part of this Contract as Attachment A. B. Contractor will install vending machines of the following types in the following locations mutually agreed upon by both Parties to this Contract. Type (Snack or Beverage) and Location 1. Bottle Drink Machine at Bldg. #507 – Administration 2. Can Drink Machine at Bldg. #507 - Administration. 3. Snack Machine at Bldg. #507 – Administration 4. Can Drink Machine at Bldg. #515 – Plant Operations. Vending machines can be relocated as needed upon written agreement of the Parties, Contractor will not modify, alter, or repair the locations without prior written approval from HHSC. C. Contractor will provide the following products in any Drink vending machine, with substitutes available upon request and mutual agreement: Coca-Cola; Cherry Coke; Coke Zero; Diet Coke; Dr. Pepper; Diet Dr. Pepper; Pepsi; Sports drinks; Orange Drink; Root Beer; Big Red; Sprite; Tea; and Bottled water. D. Contractor will provide the following products in any Snack vending machines, with substitutes available upon request and mutual agreement: Assorted cookies, Corn Nuts, Doritos, Fritos, Gardettos, Hot Tamales, Jack Links Original, Peppered and Teriyaki, Kars various nuts and Sweet N Salty snacks, Kind Bars, Assorted crackers, Donuts, Honey Buns, Granola Bars, Pop Tarts, Popcorn, Rick Krispie Treats, Ruffles Chips, Skittles, Pretzels, Sour Patch Kids, and Pork Skins. E. A 24-hour, 7 day a week technical support phone number to report needed repairs and maintenance will be provided by Contractor at no cost to HHSC or Facility. F. Contractor will make all repairs and maintenance within one business day or reply with a mutually agreed upon scheduled day when requested by Facility. G. Contractor will perform services to keep all vending machines in safe and satisfactory working condition including: 1. Clean and sanitize vending machines with only non-caustic cleaning solutions on a periodic basis. 2. Maintain an adequate supply of products to be dispensed by the vending machines at all times and ascertain that all products are maintained and available within the time date established for safe human consumption. 3. Provide each vending machine with coin changers, bill reader/changing devices and card readers for purchases. 4. Affix safety devices to preclude vending machine tip over. 5. Acquire and maintain all required state, county and city or other licenses for operation of vending machines. H. Upon expiration or termination of this Contract for any reason, Contractor will remove the equipment and Contractor’s other effects, repair and damages caused by the removal, and peaceably deliver up the locations in clean condition and in good order, repair and condition ordinary wear and tear excepted. Any personal property of Contractor not removed within two days after expiration or termination of this Contract will be deemed abandoned by Contractor and HHSC may dispose of the property in any manner it chooses, with no liability or reimbursement obligation to the Contractor. I. Contractor must comply with requirements related to safely and property operating a vending machine, including NFPA 70, Article 422.51 Vending Machines, 2014 edition, which states: (A) Cord-and-Plug-Connected [Vending Machines]. Cord-and-plug-connected vending machines manufactured or remanufactured on or after January 1, 2005, shall include a ground-fault circuit interrupter as an integral part of the attachment plug or be located within 300 mm (12 in.) of the attachment plug. Older vending machines manufactured or remanufactured prior to January 1, 2005, shall be connected to a GFCI-protected outlet; and (B) Other than Cord-and Plug-Connected. Vending machines not utilizing a cord and plug connection shall be connected to a ground-fault circuit-interrupter protected circuit.
