The project will consist of various street improvements to include repaving, rehab of existing sidewalks where applicable, new sidewalks along Setzler Alley, new on-street public parking areas, a new off-street public parking area, intersection streetprints and crosswalks, decorative lighting, and landscaping throughout. Repaving will take place on Setzler Alley from South Railroad Avenue to Gleen Street, on South Railroad Avenue from Church Street to Main Street, and on Market Street from Church Street to Main Street. A new sidewalk will be constructed along Setzler Alley and new parking areas will be striped. Additional on-street parking areas will be striped as appropriate on each road programed for repaving. A new parking area will also be provided at the intersection of Setzler Alley and Gilliam Street on a lot owned by the town of Whitmire.
