The selected Bidder will be responsible for providing fluid and accessories removal services for 113+ abandoned passenger cars and trucks. Vehicles that are not a part of this contract include boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty/commercial vehicles with gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating over 12,000 lbs. Although the City has identified 113 vehicles at this time, the City anticipates that approximately 200 more abandoned vehicles will be available for fluid removal services over the duration of this contract (April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027). Vehicles may be in various conditions ranging from operational to severely damaged or partially disassembled. Other motor vehicles such as boats, motorcycles, or heavy-duty vehicles will be negotiated separately from this contract.
