Otero College solicits bids from qualified general contractors to install storm drainage infrastructure on the main Otero College campus, LaJunta, Colorado to improve the campus storm water drainage. This includes but is not limited to approximately 1657 linear feet of 42” and 24” reinforced concrete pipe storm drain, manholes and inlets. Work includes the associated demolition of portions of the existing storm drain system and the demolition and restoration of the impacted surface improvements such as pedestrian bridges, landscaping, sidewalk, curb and gutter and parking lots. Project will include the temporary removal and replacement of two pedestrian bridges. Surface conditions should be restored to conditions equal to the conditions at the start of the project or better. All waste materials should be removed from the campus. Contractors are requested to submit their bid in three parts. A base bid (1366 LF), add alternative 1 (67 LF) and add alternative 2 (224 LF). The plans graphically indicate where the base bid and the add alternatives start and stop.
