Base Price: The base price includes but is not limited to the modernization of the Passenger Elevators #3 and #4, including new cab finishes. It also includes the construction of a sump pit with pump in elevator shaft 3&4. The base price includes renovations to the elevator equipment penthouse on the 11th floor involving a new HVAC split system (ACCU1125A/SSAHU-1125A) and exhaust fan EF-02, a new 61” square outside air louver, new circuit breakers, new lighting, adjustments to the plumbing and sprinkler layout necessary to construct a new dust partition to separate the new elevator equipment of elevators 3&4 from the old equipment of elevators 1&2. This barrier is necessary to protect the new elevator’s electronics from the carbon dust generated by the old elevator equipment. This partition and its associated work become unnecessary if Alternates 1 and 2 are awarded. Add Alternate 1: The work of this alternate includes but is not limited to the modernization of Passenger Elevator #1. This includes the addition of a second HVAC split system and the closing of openings Add Alternate 1A: New interior cab finishes and new lighting for Passenger Elevator #1. Add Alternate 2: Modernization of Passenger Elevator #2. Add Alternate 2A: New interior cab finishes and new lighting for Passenger Elevator #2. Add Alternate 3: Construction of a new dust partition with door, platform and “ships ladder” at the elevated slab for the Service Elevator. Revisions with the lighting and sprinkler layouts necessary to construct this partition to the deck. Revisions to the exhaust system for this room. Deduct Alternate 3A: Deduct the construction of the dust partition between the equipment for elevators 3&4 and 1&2. Deduct revisions to the lighting and sprinkler mandated by this partition.
