The District has conducted a recent facility needs assessment for its facilities, student population, and academic program. The facility assessment describes a need for a new Lexington Four Transportation Center located behind the Sandhills Primary School that would include office spaces, a meeting room, restrooms and storage areas. The current Transportation Offices are located inside of Sandhills Primary School which is taking up needed classroom spaces for anticipated increased enrollment. c. The Lexington School District Four Facility Assessment, dated April 23, 2024, describes a new transportation facility that would include over 2500 square feet of office spaces, a meeting room, restrooms and storage areas. This facility would be located behind the Sandhills Primary and Elementary School.
