Purpose of this Document This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Horse Park, an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky within the Tourism Arts & Heritage Cabinet and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A.097. The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from one or more individuals or companies interested in reaching a diverse audience, including highly affluent equestrians, as a sponsor of the Kids’ Barn at the Kentucky Horse Park. With over 200 events per year and over 1.7 million visitors from around the world, this naming right opportunity will generate thousands of impressions for the interested party. B. Background Situated in the heart of Bluegrass on over 1,200 pristine acres, the Kentucky Horse Park is widely known as one of the state’s leading tourist attractions and one of the nation’s premier equine competition facilities. Major events such as the Kentucky Three#Day Event, Junior League Horse Show, United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals, and The National Horse Show, USA all are held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park. However, you will also reach a much more expansive audience with non#equestrian events like: Truck & Tractor Pulls, Weddings, Rodeos, 5K’s, Youth Soccer Leagues, Dog Shows and Music Festivals, just to name a few. At the Kentucky Horse Park, you will reach local and international visitors and equestrians all year long. About the Kids’ Barn: The Kids’ Barn is an interactive facility with hands-on educational activities that are guaranteed to capture every guest’s attention. Both children and adults can learn about the basics of horses, how to care for them, and jump their own course of fences on foot located in the grassy area right beside the barn. In 2024, the Kids’ Barn is undergoing significant renovations including new exhibits and an overall refresh of the interior. An estimated 20,000 children under the age of 12 visit the Kentucky Horse Park through the Visitor’s Center gates annually with their families, with an additional estimated 5,000 children attending with their school’s field trips. Many more visit through the various events and competitions held throughout the venue.
