Purpose of this Document This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Horse Park, an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky within the Tourism Arts & Heritage Cabinet and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A.097. The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from multiple individuals or companies interested in reaching a diverse audience, including men, women, and children of all ages, and highly affluent equestrians, as a sponsor of the Campground Special Events at the Kentucky Horse Park Campground. With over 43,000 camping nights annually, this sponsorship opportunity will generate thousands of impressions for the interested party. B. Background About the Kentucky Horse Park Situated in the heart of Bluegrass on over 1,200 pristine acres, the Kentucky Horse Park is widely known as one of the state’s leading tourist attractions and one of the nation’s premier equine competition facilities. Major events such as the Kentucky Three#Day Event, Breyerfest, Junior League Horse Show, United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals, and The National Horse Show, are held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park. However, you will also reach a much more expansive audience with non#equestrian events like: Truck & Tractor Pulls, Weddings, Rodeos, 5K’s, Youth Soccer Leagues, Dog Shows and Music Festivals, just to name a few. At the Kentucky Horse Park, you will reach local and international visitors and equestrians all year long. About the Kentucky Horse Park Campground The Kentucky Horse Park Campground Special Events boasts a 260-site campground attracting over 40,000 campers annually. The campground’s pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, and easy bike access to Legacy Trail make it one of Kentucky’s finest resort campgrounds. Offering 50/30/20 amp electricity and water sites, the campground sites are 55’ paved backins with fire rings and picnic tables. Two dump stations are provided for the convenience of campers as they exit the park. The campground provides a combination grocery store/gift shop, as well as two bathhouses with modern conveniences for the campers’ comfort. Electric and primitive sites are available. Up to 10 Sponsorships are available for the Kentucky Horse Park Campground events: # Memorial Weekend, $5,000 cash # Fourth of July Weekend, $5,000 cash # Labor Day Weekend, $5,000 cash # Halloween Weekend I, $5,000 cash # Halloween Weekend II, $5,000 cash # Five (5) other weekends, as mutually agreed upon, $5,000 cash/weekend
