Project Details In Fiscal Year 2024 (9/1/23 – 8/31/24), TTU spent a total of $250 million in research expenditures alone, and this number is only expected to increase in upcoming years due to the TUF endowment and TTU leadership’s emphasis on research. TTU anticipates spend of $500 million on research by 2030. TTU’s current scientific research endeavors are vast and vary greatly between initiatives, colleges, and departments. The following section will detail common items that may be needed, but Proposer(s) must note that this list is not exhaustive. Proposer(s) are not required to provide all categories of equipment (“Equipment”), supplies (“Supplies”), and services (“Services”) listed below. In their Response, Proposer(s) must indicate which categories or items they can provide. TTU also encourages Proposer(s) to list additional offerings that may not have been included in this scope of work for consideration. 1.3.1 Animals Successful Proposer(s) will be required to partner with TTU departments to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and TTU policies regarding Animal acquisition, care, and disposal. These policies include the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee’s Animal Acquisition and Disposition policy and the US Department of Agriculture’s Prompt Payment of Livestock policy. a. Animal viscera; b. Animal products; c. Carcasses; d. Livestock and other live animals; e. Preserved carcasses/parts/products; and f. Additional living organisms, i.e., insects, amphibians, arthropods, etc.
