Provide qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) services to provide specialized behavioral services that support the District’s efforts to enhance student outcomes, ensure compliance with IDEA and Section 504, and equip school staff with evidence-based practices to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. District staff will coordinate these services on an “as-needed” basis. 1. Behavioral Support in Public School Settings: ○ Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in various school environments, ensuring interventions are tailored to the unique dynamics of public school classrooms. ○ Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that address student needs while aligning with District policies and procedures. ○ Collaborate with school personnel to integrate behavior support strategies into general and special education settings effectively. 2. IEP and Section 504 Support: ○ Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, including those involving complex or contentious discussions, providing expert behavioral insights and recommendations. ○ Ensure behavioral goals and supports comply with IDEA and Section 504requirements, reflecting the district’s commitment to equitable and inclusive education.
