Category 1: Public Health Grant and Research Development. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying Public Health funding opportunities, applying for funding and writing associated grant applications, planning and consulting on Public Health research projects on topics including behavioral health, community health programs, sexual health, and chronic disease prevention, including the responsibility to achieve the City’s grant and research development goals. Category 2: Public Health Organizational Development, Technical Assistance and Training. This includes, but is not limited to, consulting on and developing training materials, leading trainings, acting as a subject matter expert(s) and providing technical assistance to help public health workers build skills, engage with communities with a goal of strengthening all aspects of the City’s public health system, including the responsibility to ensure that all such public health workers remain up to date on all associated state, federal and local rules and regulations.
