The Ladd Road Bridge project consists of the replacement of a former steel beam bridge with timber deck on laid stone abutments. The existing structure was washed out during a flood event in July 2023 and replaced off-alignment upstream with a temporary structure made of steel beams, timber deck, and concrete block abutments. The replacement structure will be a steel plate culvert that has a 33’ span and 7’-6” rise on a piled supported foundation. Bank stabilization will be included as needed to protect the newly installed culvert and wingwalls from scour.
