A. Contractor shall replace current well pump with a new 25 gallons per minute (GPM) five (5) Horsepower unit. B. Contractor shall add a sand separator if the well is not in well line. Contractor shall confirm with CAL FIRE Project Representative prior to adding sand separator. C. Contractor shall replace electrical wiring, if needed. D. Contractor shall replace plumbing, if needed. E. Contractor shall remove and dispose of old system in accordance with local laws and regulations. F. Contractor shall verify all equipment is operational before leaving the site. G. Contractor shall ensure the well head is in compliance with California Water Well Standards. H. Additional work or materials needed to complete the well pump replacement must be approved by the CAL FIRE Project Representative prior to any work commencing.
