The City of South Portland is seeking to lease one (1) gasoline/hybrid electric vehicle, for its Code Enforcement Department. The minimum requirements for this vehicle must include: • Preference will be given to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), but the City will consider a standard hybrid electric vehicle • Must be new or in new condition, not previously owned or leased • Minimum four-passenger capacity in all vehicle types • Minimum fifty-five (55) cubic feet of storage space in the hybrid vehicle specifically • Compliance with all current Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations to safely operate on all public roads and US highways • Charging capability for level II (240V) with quick charge port included and DC fast charge (480V) for the EVs specifically • Minimum EPA estimated range of 150 miles for all vehicle types • All-weather tires
