Provide technical assistance to users of the URAC Parity Manager Tool to assist the Department in addressing questions regarding use of the tool for reporting information and compliance with MPHAEA. Information gathered using the URAC Parity Manager Tool will assist the Department preparation of its next parity report to CMS and facilitate an evaluation of MCO compliance with the MHPAEA. The selected contractor shall provide technical assistance to inform the Department’s parity analyses and suggested corrective actions. The selected contractor shall have specific knowledge of the URAC Parity Manager Tool. The selected contractor shall have specific knowledge of the compliance requirements for the Final Rule of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) and the Final Rule on the Application of Mental Health Parity Requirements to Coverage Offered by Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and Alternative Benefit Plans (ABPs).
