Lease shall commence on or before June 1, 2025. Proposer must be willing to enter into the Town's standard form of commercial lease (Exhibit A), The Town of Wellesley is pleased to present this Request for Proposals (RFP) for an individual or group to enter into a lease agreement with the Town of Wellesley. The lease will provide the Town of Wellesley with office space to house the FMD’s Administration Offices. The Town of Wellesley will require approximately 3,100 to 3,700 square feet of useable office space. The purpose of the presentation of the RFP is to create office space for the FMD’s administrative offices at a reasonable rate and near (within 2-miles) Town Hall. The Town anticipates that following the deadline for proposals, a committee will be formed which will discuss and recommend a proposal to the Executive Director of Government Services. The proposal that will be recommended should meet the minimum requirements as set forth in this RFP, provide a lease at a reasonable rate, and provide the needed space in a building within the Town of Wellesley limits. Following the recommendation and approval by the Executive Director of Government Services and Board of Selectmen to enter into a lease agreement, the Town will undergo the necessary steps to confirm a lease agreement with the selected person or group.
