3.2.2.1 Provide and install Seven (7) Galvanized steel Double swing barrier gates. 3.2.2.2 All gates shall have 3 in galvanized steel posts embedded in concrete with 3 ft-6 in. above grade. 3.2.2.3 All gate arms shall be min 1-7/8 in OD with supports of the same size and material. All gate arm pairs shall be equidistant from each other with 1-3/8 in. eye-locks attached. 3.2.2.4 Gate arms shall be attached to poles with duel sealed bearing hinges. 3.2.2.5 Each Barrier gate arm shall have a gate arm receiver post to support arm in the open position. Receiver posts shall be of size and construction as the Gate support posts with 1-3/8” eye-lock loop attached. 3.2.2.6 All gates shall be provided with MUTCD compliant, 8 Mil., Red/White and Yellow safety tape kit sufficient for gate arms and posts. 3.2.2.7 Roadway dimensions (overall edge of pavement) are as follows: 3.2.2.7.1 Gate #1 – 55 ft.
