FLOORS 1. Gloss—The floor shall have a visible, overall shine with few dull areas, and the shine shall have the appearance of being on top of the floor, not in the floor. Stripping and waxing on regular basis will be required to accomplish this, as approved by agency representative. 2. Color—Maintain original of the floor throughout the complete area. 3. Black Marks—Traffic lanes and areas other than traffic lanes will be kept free of excessive black marks. 4. Buildup—All floor areas will be kept free of wax or finish build-up. 5. Spots—The floor will be kept free of excessive spots, scratches and scuffs in non-traffic areas and heavy spots in traffic areas. 6. Carpet—It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to schedule all carpet cleaning (wet or dry shampooing), so as to maintain all carpeting in a clean, well-groomed manner at all times. All carpeting must be completely cleaned a minimum of every six (6) months. However, it is understood that there are areas of extreme soilage including all hallways, waiting areas, and reception lobby area which may require cleaning on a more frequent basis, and it is the responsibility of the Contractor to maintain carpet appearance.
