Pursuant to its authority under Idaho Code § 31-4801, et seq, the Board of Commissioners of Ada County (“Board” or “County”) is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) from contractors (“Design/Builders” or “Proposer”) qualified to provide the design and construction of a new communications shelter, 125 ft. tower, perimeter fencing and the installation of a new generator, as well as the removal of the existing structure once the equipment inside has been removed, installed, and made operational inside the new structure (“Project”) just to the east of the U.S.F.S. Nursery at Lucky Peak, in Ada County, Idaho. The Project will be located on property owned by the Army Corps of Engineers. The purpose of this RFP 25028 (“RFP 25028”) is to solicit Proposals from Design/Builders who can demonstrate that they possess the organizational, functional and technical capabilities to design the Project, in accordance with Idaho Public Works projects requirements, and construct the required elements of the Project, such that at final completion, the Project is fully functional and integrated with the existing communications network. The successful Proposer shall be responsible for providing Engineer-approved drawings for the Project, the implementation and commissioning of the Project, including development of applicable user acceptance testing, system integration and connectivity to existing resources.
