The Contractor shall provide all overhead, labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment to include scaffolding and/or lift, supplies, vehicles, travel, and fuel necessary to perform yearly hands-on inspection, maintenance, supply, and repair services to acoustical panels, soft goods/curtains and stage rigging in the auditoriums and cafetoriums for schools throughout the District. The annual inspection shall be a hands-on inspection of soft goods/curtains complete with written reports, photos, and a plan for preventative maintenance as well as major repairs required. The inspection report shall be based on the repairs that are required for that school in order to bring the school into compliance and address safety issues. Schools with an inspection report stating that repairs are not required will be considered certified as safe and operational and must be noted in writing in the inspection report. At this time, there are twelve (12) High Schools/Performing Arts, twelve (12) Middle Schools, and twenty-nine (29) Elementary/Intermediate Schools that may require services provided as per specifications listed herein. HCS reserves the right to add/delete schools as necessary. Two elementaries are currently in process of construction. All services shall be in accordance with these specifications, the direction of the authorized representative of the Facilities Department, and the best standard practices of the industry.
