The Town of Lexington requests the following work to be completed for the Department of Public Facilities: On-Call Security System services as detailed in the General Specifications section below. The initial term will commence upon contract execution and terminate June 30, 2026. Two additional, one (1) year extensions may be exercised at the Town’s sole discretion. SCOPE OF SERVICES The work under this contract shall consist of the specifications listed below. Prices shall remain firm for the entire period of the contact. The Town of Lexington reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award the bid as may be determined to be in the best interest of the town. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS The “work” shall consist of TOWN WIDE SECURITY SYSTEM SERVICES in harmony with the Town of Lexington and all departments. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary for the maintenance, preventative maintenance, examination, service, repair, emergency repair, installation, upgrades, testing, programming, and inspection of Security Systems at the Town of Lexington, Massachusetts Public Buildings and Properties (SCHOOL and MUNICIPAL) as directed by the Department of Public Facilities or his/her designee. Security Systems services under this contract include, but are not limited to; Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Security Camera Systems/Video Management Systems, Burglar/Intrusion/Perimeter Alarm Systems, Electronic Door Access Control Systems, Video Intercom Systems, etc. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK 1. The General Bidder shall be held fully responsible for examining the scope of the bid as defined within the project documents contained in the specifications and any related attachments. 2. Work under this contract includes all services related to Town Wide Security Systems, for Bid # 25-66 complete with all permits and forms (local & state), including but not limited to the following: a. Security System Preventative Maintenance b. Security System Maintenance c. Security System Service d. Security System Repair e. Oversight and Management of Software and Licensing f. Security System Updates g. Security System Upgrades h. Security System Replacements i. Security System Addition and/or Expansion j. Security System New Installations k. Security System Programming 3. Bidder will provide labor, materials, supervision, and project management for equipment maintenance, service, repairs, additions and modifications for new and existing systems, on both school and town buildings
