Our Communications objectives include: 1. Build support for DURA and its activities among a variety of constituencies that already know or work with us. 2. Increase awareness of who DURA is and what DURA does among audiences who have little or no knowledge of us. 3. Educate the public about how DURA does its work, and the tools it uses. 4. Position DURA as a valued, trusted and respected resource for urban revitalization in Denver. 5. Position DURA as a partner with the City in efforts to revitalize blighted areas through appropriate redevelopment and community investment programs. Our Community Engagement objectives include: 1. Collecting ideas to support development of DURA’s Community Investment initiatives and/or the engagement process. 2. Developing an outreach and engagement strategy that prioritizes and achieves genuine community participation with an emphasis on diversity and equity. 3. Communicating with DURA staff regarding concerns of impacts of DURA projects and initiatives. 4. Engaging stakeholders, in coordination with project developers and City departments, on DURA redevelopment projects.
