Scope of Service: Provide professional pest control services for the Life Skills & Transition Center’s buildings, campus grounds, and tunnels. Rate shall be all-inclusive. Services shall be provided as follows: Monthly services to occupied areas shall include, but not be limited to, pest control trap check; rodent trap check; spray, as needed, for flies, ladybugs, ants, spiders, etc.; insecticide bait stations; and, as needed, seasonal wasp/bee control. Traps, bait stations, and similar units must be placed within facility according to safety guidelines and approvals. Food storage areas, steam pipe areas, and shower areas, along with other areas deemed necessary by the Life Skills & Transition Center designee. All Life Skills & Transition Center underground tunnels shall be serviced using residual sprays. Exterior of all buildings shall be sprayed in the fall to prevent an influx of ants, beetles, and spiders. All other areas of the Life Skills & Transition Center shall be treated at least quarterly. Work shall be performed during the hours of 7:00am-3:30pm CT, Monday-Friday, unless prior approval has been obtained from State. Weekly services to identified areas, as required, to control any rodent or pest outbreaks that occur between Contractor’s regular monthly service visits. Emergency call backs shall be covered under the terms of this Contract and shall be handled within 24 hours from the time of notification. Schedule will be coordinated with Plant Services Staff. Contractor shall check in with the Life Skills & Transition Center’s Plant Services Office prior to performing any scheduled preventative pest control services. Contractor shall provide service ticket with completion of each service visit that details services provided.
