1. Forensic Evaluations a. Evaluations will consist of either a Standard Psychological Evaluations or an Abbreviated Psychological Evaluations. i. Standard Psychological Evaluations 1. An evaluation that exceeds 11 hours to perform; 2. A dedicated evaluation slot that cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the proposer’s control; client no-show, client unable to engage in evaluation process etc. ii. Abbreviated Psychological Evaluations 1. An evaluation that takes less than 11 hours to perform; 2. An evaluation that involves a lower-than-average number of hours as compared to the average cost of completion as defined by Office of Public Defense Services (OPDS) statistics. a. Evaluations must be completed in accordance to Oregon Secretary of State Administrative Rules 309-090-0000 to 309-090-0070 i. Proposer and the County will collaborate to plan the development and implementation of a “Rapid Fitness to Proceed”. Proposer will provide expertise and technical assistance throughout the contract period as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Fitness to Proceed for the targeted population. b. Proposer will meet periodically with the BHD staff and collaborating system partners throughout the contract period to ensure on-going communication and collaboration around planning and implementation of key activities. c. Proposer agrees that the staff assigned will uphold the following communication policies: i. email communications will be responded to within 72 hours from the time the email was received; ii. phone calls will be returned within 48 hours from the time they are received; and iii. prior notice of vacation or other events requiring office leave that impact service timelines, will be given. a. Proposer will attend ongoing court staffing meetings, court hearings, and service planning meetings as needed/ relevant to ensuring successful implementation and reporting on outcomes.
