The City of Walnut (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide independent financial statement audit services for the three (3) fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027, with an extension optional for each of the subsequent two (2) fiscal years at the discretion of the City Manager. II. SCOPE OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED a. Performance of an audit of all funds in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and government auditing standards and rendering an audit report and opinion on the basic financial statements. b. Preparation and publication of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (“ACFR”). c. Performance of a Single Audit on expenditures of federal funds in accordance with OMB Circular A-133 and issuance of all related reports. d. Conducting agreed-upon procedures pertaining to the Gann Appropriations Limit and rendering a compliance letter. e. Preparation and submittal of the annual Street Report and Financial Transactions Report to the State Controller’s Office (“SCO”).
