The Removal of Hazardous Leaning, Fallen Trees & Hanging Limbs Work Shall consist of all, labor, equipment, fuel, traffic control costs, and other associated cost necessary to remove all eligible hazardous trees (4) inches in greater in diameter, measured four and one half (4 ½’) from the base of the tree and eligible hazardous hanging limbs two (2) inches or greater in diameter existing on the city Greeneway right of way that would fall on the Greeneway, Parks, and Facilities. 2. Greenspace / Retention Pond / Wetland Areas: Tree Cutting & Removal of trees that have fallen our leaning towards private property from city owned property such as: Open Green Space, Retention Pond Areas, and or Wetland Areas. All large tree debris shall be removed as possible. Contractor shall remove any current broken hanging limbs that may fall onto private property. 3. Tree Punning: All tree pruning cuts shall be made in accordance with ANSI A300 Standards & Best Management Practices. Must have a Certified Arborists on staff. 4. Cleanup It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to remove and dispose of all logs, brush, vines and debris resulting from the tree removal operations at no additional cost to the City of North Augusta. Contractor is to cut all stumps flush with the ground and grind where applicable. Wood debris from a wood chipper can be blown along natural areas were applicable.
