OSU is seeking proposals from furnishing vendors to provide goods and services for the replacement of furnishings in two residence halls on the OSU Corvallis Campus. Oregon State University recently completed a comprehensive exercise to develop a vision to establish a decision-making framework to guide the future 10-year planning effort for advancing the student experience in its housing and dining programs. The Corvallis Campus Housing and Dining Vision outlines a plan to modernize inventory, diversify housing options, enhance community and grow housing inventory. Inclusive in this plan is the replacement of the bedroom furnishings in our existing Residence Halls that will take place as we renew our facilities. UHDS is using this as an opportunity to explore new options in furnishings and accessories as we work to establish new standards. We specifically are interested in product lines that find innovative ways to promote student privacy and the personalization of their space. Weatherford and West Halls are two of the first buildings that will be receiving new furnishings in the residents' bedrooms as part of this process.
