The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of furnishing all material, labor, supervision, tools, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide maintenance services. Including all inspections, adjustments, tests, part replacements, and repairs to keep generators covered under this contract available when needed, at their established capacities and efficiencies. Upgrading of equipment is not within the scope of this specification. Any changes or alterations will require authorization from the City of Bristol. It is assumed that annual inspection and maintenance visits per unit shall include any parts, filters, belts, fluids monitoring, coolant replenishment/ replacement, and oil changes required to ensure normal operation. Routine service shall include inspection and maintenance of all transfer switches. In the event that a generator fails to operate as a result of incomplete maintenance as outlined herein, the contractor shall restore the generator to service, via repair or replacement at the sole expense of the contractor. In the event of such occurrences, the City shall be the sole determiner of whether repair or replacement is required.
