The scope of this RFP is to enhance non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations capacity to serve Marion County residents with services, education, and/or materials to improve emergency preparedness and response, resilience, and/or adaptation to extreme heat, poor air quality, and/or wildfire smoke. The scope of this RFP includes but is not limited to: 2.4.1 Personnel – Salary and Fringe Benefits such as Personnel or staff salary, Volunteer Appreciation, Internships, etc. 2.4.2 Services and Supplies such as office equipment and supplies. A single item cannot exceed $5,000, must be culturally and linguistically responsive, and must be paired with education,training and/or other systematic investment designed to improve preparedness or resilience for the priority population. 2.4.3 Travel as it related to the work plan 2.4.4 Professional Development and Training 2.4.5 Communication and Media Campaigns 2.4.6 Any project that implements culturally or linguistically responsive activities to a priority population and meets allowable expenses. 2.4.7 Complete a project report by June 30, 2025.
