The Green Mountain Union High School is seeking bids to update the fire alarm and life safety systems to meet Fire Code requirements. Bid Requirements: 1. Meet the required audible notification levels in classrooms and required ADA visual notification. Replace all conventional horn notifications to the speaker (Voice Evac) per code. 2. Use current technology developments for fire control panels. All hardware shall report trouble, alarm, and tamper by the detector to the fire panel. 3. System consisting of commercial fire to meet the State of Vermont, NFPA Life Safety, and ADA codes. The equipment list is as follows: a. Upgrade software and expansion board for existing voice evac VIP2000 to ECS2100. VIP technology will not integrate with the current level of technology. b. Silent Knight IFP2100 ECS Fire command at auditorium hall entry. c. Two Silent Knight 50-watt amplifiers with battery backup. d. Three RPS-1000 power supplies for visual notification with battery backup. Required to offset the voltage drop design for the length of the school. e. Speaker, speaker/strobes, and strobes will be System Sensor with visual output of 185 cd. Wall mount or ceiling mount will be utilized to reduce installation time & materials. f. Requirement for smoke detection in corridors and to operate fire smoke door release per code. g. Install 21 addressable system smoke detectors. h. Fifteen addressable monitor modules and replace with 190 heat detectors. The devices will be grouped into 15 zones on the system. i. Replace 190 heat detectors with system addressable devices
