Anderson School District 5 is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the rental of portable lighting units to be used during special events throughout the district. The awarded vendor will provide lighting solutions for parking lots and facilities to ensure safety and visibility at various district events. The initial contract will be awarded to a single vendor for the 2025-2026 school year. It is Anderson School District Five’s intent to contract with the successful vendor by entering into a one (1) year Agreement with the option to renew for four (4) additional one year terms. Renewal shall be automatic. If either party intends to withdraw from the contract, they must notify the other party at least 120 days prior to automatic renewal. The district has the right to extend the contract beyond 5 years if approved by following current procurement code procedures. The District intends for this vendor to assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation. The successful contractor shall be properly licensed (Section 40-11-30) and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience. Anderson School District Five allows participation in cooperative purchasing pursuant to SC Code 11-35-4810. This solicitation will sponsor cooperative purchasing with the following K-12 School Districts: • Anderson School District One • Anderson School District Three • School District of Oconee County • Pickens County School District
