The Contractor must: Provide laundry and linen services to the Department of Health and Welfare (Department) at State Hospital North (SHN), 300 Hospital Drive, Orofino, Idaho 83544. Services must include laundering of linens from all patient units and services, dietary services, and custodial services. Furnish the required number of linens per Attachment 6 - Linen Inventory. Comply with all federal, state and local rules regulations, guidelines and policies pertaining to laundry and linen services, standards of cleanliness, and any required training of their employees. Meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards 29 CFR 1901.1030 (Bloodborne Pathogens), Guidelines for Environmental Infection Control in Healthcare Facilities, and Guidelines for Healthcare Linen Services https://www.osha.gov/bloodborne-pathogens/worker-protections. The Contractor must ensure its employees are adequately trained to handle soiled linens. Provide proof of hygienically clean healthcare certification.
