1. Inspections, structural evaluations and condition assessments for Park’s bridges and trestles as well as related structures such as docks and piers. 2. Repair, rehabilitation, and/or replacement feasibility studies. 3. Structural, civil, and related engineering services for bridge repair and/or replacement from design through construction including preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, as well as services during construction. 4. Geotechnical field investigations, engineering evaluations, studies, designs, written reports, presentations, and field monitoring services during construction. 5. Permit services for local, state or federally required permits or approvals, working with agencies such as the King County Department of Permitting & Environmental Review (DPER), Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW), Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology), Washington State Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation (DAHP) State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). 6. Cost estimating from planning level through engineer’s estimate. 7. Construction administration and inspections for compliance with specifications and permit conditions. 8. Bridge load rating analysis and reports. 9. Environmental engineering services related to bridge design improvements, including, but not limited to: critical and sensitive areas studies; wetlands, streams, and rivers; wildlife; steep slopes; archeological investigations; and creosote and lead-based paint management. 10. Landscape restoration and mitigation site design.
