SCOPE OF SERVICES: Launching of the fireworks display shall be between 9:00pm and 9:30pm depending on complete sunset. The preferred duration of the display is between 25-30 minutes. The aerial display shall incorporate 20 minutes of continuous firing for the main body of the show and a five minute (at least) grand finale display providing a full show lasting at least 25 minutes. Display shall commence as soon as it is dark enough for the display to have an adequate backdrop. SCOPE OF WORK The Request for Proposal must include a detailed breakdown of the show to be provided, specifying shell size, type, length of each series, complete description of finale, length of entire show and any other pertinent information. The vendor shall include a detailed list of the proposed fireworks, including the absolute minimum numbers, shapes and sizes of all shells that will be included in the display and the time in the rules that will be used between the firing of the shells to illustrate the complete program. It is the expectation of the Vendor to take creative license with a diverse range and style of shells not to exceed 6-inch shells. The Vendor must provide references for the previous three (3) years regarding similar scope contracts in the State of Connecticut. A general description of the company, including locality, number of employees, primary business, other business interests or services and type of organization. If the proposal is a joint venture, the qualifications of each company comprising of the joint venture should be separately identified, including the company that is to serve as the principal. Complete information on qualifications and experience should be provided for all joint venture partners and or subcontractors.
