PPSC is currently seeking a new Facilities Master Plan to support its ongoing growth and evolution. This project shall consider all aspects of the successful development of a Facilities Master Plan, including but not limited to the following: • A visioning process to set the foundation for the development of the Master Plan that will consider how PPSC’s facilities will best serve students, staff, and the community. • A robust stakeholder process to inform the Master Plan throughout its development, including from: students, employees, the community, local governments, and other educational providers. • Incorporation of demographic, economic, and academic analyses developed from PPSC and outside sources. • The construction of new facilities, and the renovation and expansion of existing facilities, to blend social and academic spaces for students, employees, and faculty/instructors that create environments that promote student success through collaboration and integrative learning. • Analysis to determine the cost associated with updating and modernizing existing facilities, as well as developing any alternatives for the facilities. • Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and community on PPSC campuses. • Review the access to and from the campuses, parking lot design and capacity, and landscaping to align with the State’s goals, including its Climate & Clean Energy Goals. • Assess the capacity of infrastructure to determine if expansion can be accommodated. • Development of a Master Plan that can be flexible and responsive to changing conditions over the life of the plan. • PPSC seeks to be the preferred option for students and as such is asking the selected consultant to share examples of other colleges or universities, they have worked with on Master Plans that are successful with demonstrating that their facilities are contributing to the attraction and retention of students. • PPSC is seeking to make changes to our campuses that are in accord with the current hybrid environment that includes both in-person and virtual work, meetings, and learning. • Development of a prioritized, phased strategic facility master plan with projected cost estimates and funding needs, including identifying options for potential public private partnerships and other creative opportunities to foster the needed funding to realize the plan. • Assistance with public relations and a marketing strategy to engender the necessary public and private investments and support to realize the outcomes of the plan.
