The Fire Station 7 Roof Replacement project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing roof system with a new two-ply cold process modified bitumen system over polyisocyanurate insulation and a gypsum cover board. The work includes selective demolition of the existing built-up roof and flashing, and installation of new sheet metal flashings, coping caps, counter flashings, conductor heads, and downspouts. The project requires compliance with all applicable ANSI, OSHA, NRCA, and SMACNA standards, as well as coordination with building occupants to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Temporary weather protection and daily watertight conditions must be maintained throughout construction. The contractor is responsible for site protection, cleanup, and disposal of waste materials in accordance with the project specifications.
