This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of obtaining proposals and ultimately entering into a contract to provide FSMC services for Anderson School District Four nonprofit school food service program, hereinafter referred to as the SFA. Schools listed in Appendix A are equipped as on-site preparation facilities The food service employees listed in Appendix C are employees of the SFA and shall be given the opportunity to remain SFA employees. However, all new employees hired after the signing of the contract will be employees of the FSMC. The offeror or Food Service Management Company (FSMC) will be referred to as the FSMC, and the Contract will be between the FSMC and the SFA. The FSMC shall offer assurances that all operations addressed in the RFP will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the goals of the SFA’s Child Nutrition Program, which is to provide nutritionally balanced meals of high quality to students at an economical price in an attractive, appealing, and friendly environment.
