New Castle County is seeking proposals from vendors for the repair of Ford/Sterling/Western Star Heavy Duty Trucks (over F450 in size) on an as-needed basis. This bid shall cover most repair/service work, including engine replacement, accident drivetrain repairs, emission repairs, electrical/electronic troubleshooting, and other repairs as required by New Castle County. Vendor must be capable of performing all Ford/Sterling/Western Star heavy duty truck repairs. New Castle County reserves the right to exclude repair/service items at their discretion and those repair/service items which are currently covered under other contracts or for which specialty shops are used by New Castle County, i.e., body shop repairs, automatic transmissions, front ends, drive shafts, air conditioning, etc. Excluded from this contract are repairs and service handled by New Castle County’s garage.
